I've been listening to too much Kappei Yamaguchi. :P

So, actually this one WASN'T inspired by "Aoki Yasei," but rather, Kappei's rendition of the Simon & Garfunkel song, "Sound of Silence." It's a very haunting and sombering melody, in both English and Japanese... and for some reason, hearing it gave me this image of Inuyasha that has been bugging me to draw it for a while now.

Really quick sketch (a few minutes' worth) of Inuyasha's expression that I wanted to capture in the image.

I always picture him in modern-ish clothes, relaxed in the Goshinboku and strumming a guitar. Which shouldn't make sense but for some reason it does in my mind *L*

This is really expressive, and I like the "sketch" quality to it. I think it works better than a totally polished image would have. :nod:
